In commemorating the death anniversary of Saint Bonifacia, foundress of Siervas De San Jose Congregation, the SSJ Sisters, together with the rest of the Familian community, held a Holy Mass on August 8.
Reflecting on the examples set by St. Bonifacia, Fr. Victor Sedaya’s homily was full of cognizance on the value of communication to deepen the relationship of a family and school community amidst busy schedules in school or work.
St. Bonifacia is a woman of work, prayer, and love. At a juvenile age, she already worked with compassion, loved without condition, and dedicated herself to the Lord. She empowered human dignity and strengthened the faith of others. She also influenced the workers on how to live by themselves. St. Bonifacia died at the age of 68 and touched
many hearts.
Every year, the SSJ community commemorates her death anniversary to signify their deepest gratitude to their foundress worthy of praise and emulation.
