HFS bags back-to-back awards in Bible Quiz Bee

Holy Family School's representatives finished at top positions in the Elimination and Regional Finals rounds of the 8th St. Paul National Bible Quiz Bee. Organized annually by The Society of St. Paul, SSP, the event was held from September 2 to 3, 2017 with the theme "Live the Word, Build a Better World".

Twenty three schools, including two groups from Holy Family School, convened at St. Theresa's College for the North Area Elimination on September 2. Team A was comprised by Phoenix Antonio, Abby Gayle Pandaan, and Kyna Allyza Sayo while Team B was composed of Nicole Katrina Cabalquinto, Hannah Andrea Romerosa, and Zoe Andrelle Zamora. Team B won the first place and Team A bagged the fourth place.

The Regional Finals were held at SM City San Lazaro on the next day, with Holy Family School earning fourth place. Additionally, Kyna Allyza Sayo won the Best K+ Word Gospel Reflection and her piece will be published on Youngsters Magazine.
