Friday Mass revels Mother Mary's birthday

In celebration of our Mother Mary's birthday last September 8, the school held a mass to commemorate it in her honor.

The priest shared the gospel of the day about Immanuel in Mt. 1:18-23, and expressed his views on Mother Mary and her righteous act of deliverance.

In his homily, he explained the connection all mothers have to Mother Mary in quite a direct manner. He also narrated an anecdote about his own mother, emphasizing the need to cherish mothers and their efforts, struggles and hardships in their act of nurturing and caring for their children, and encouraging everyone to reciprocate the unending love of mothers.

The priest stated that Mother Mary's presence lives on inside all mothers, which implies that Jesus Christ lives on within us as well.

In order to show gratitude and offer praises to Mother Mary, the students wholeheartedly sung praises and participated in the eucharistic celebration
