Familian Spikers sweep St. Paul University Quezon City
The Familian Spikers surged past St. Paul University Quezon City, 25-6, 25-11 in the AAPS 2017 District 4 at the Familian Court, Tuesday.
The Familian Spikers launched a 24-11 lead in the second set to get ahead of their opponent, equipped by a crosscourt hit by Nirvana Ombid. Gwen Lubrin’s running hit checked by SPUQC gave the Spikers their second straight win, 25-11.
HFS exhibited dominance in the opening frame with a 9-3 lead aided by a down the line attack by Erin Navarro who also closed the set with an attack.
Nicole Angkaw chalked up 7 points, 6 service aces and 1 attack, for the Familian Spikers.
